Belek is also home to the Turkish Airlines Open Tournament, a flagship of the European Tour Calendar and part of the prestigious Rolex series of events on the European tour. The local golfing community is very involved in this event as volunteers (marshalls, scoreboard management, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of this major tournament.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
We have a number of the best Belek places for expats – both golfers and non-golfers. Groups of friends meeting for the great food and drinks, to watch a game on the large TV screen, or just hanging out and (when covid will be over) for karaoke and hookah.
Café Istanbul.
This restaurant has a Belgian owner and very lovely customers. Whenever you go there it feels like coming home. If you are not feeling hungry they also do great cocktails and there is always a warm and friendly atmosphere
British Pub attracts all UK citizens, of course.
Indian restaurant “Aroma” and “19th Hole bar” are always open for friendly gatherings. The customers are mainly British, Irish, Germans, Dutch, and Scandanavians.
Then there are “Zirve” and “Zeytin Alti” for fantastic authentic Turkish breakfasts.

RESIDENTIAL COMPLEXES
And certainly, you have to pay attention to your direct neighbors.
For example, King Construction’s residential complexes (Penelope, Cleodora, Selene, Olympias). There are mostly foreign owners, everyone knows each other, going to dinners together and so on.
Then there are “Monarch” sites especially built for Northern European people. So May and December all Finland is here.
“Belek Golf Villas” has a great community of Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, and Turks. On the site, there are always barbeques and pool games for the whole Summer.
